Dr. Noura Alnowaiser is the Director of Continuous Quality Improvement and Patient Safety and the Director of Strategic Implementation Office (SIO) at the Health Services General Directorate, Ministry of Defense. She has more than 30 years of clinical experience as a family physician with 15 years in senior executive leadership posts.

Dr. Noura Alnowaiser has extensive experience in quality management, patient safety, evidence-based healthcare, medical education, healthcare management, healthcare system transformation and accreditation and has contributed as a published researcher and speaker at national, regional, and international conferences in these areas.

She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Saudi Center of Patient Safety and a member of the Executive committee at the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (CBAHI). Additionally, Dr. Noura Alnowaiser is member of the steering team for the National Strategy for Healthcare Quality at the Saudi Health Council and an international consultant for Joint Commission International (JCI).
