Recognition
Grace Award
Grace Whiting Myers, the founder of AHIMA, was a catalyst for change. She established AHIMA on the belief that better collection and organization of health information would enable clinicians to improve public health.
In recognition of Myers’ vision, the Grace Award bears her name. It recognizes healthcare organizations that use health information in innovative ways to deliver high-quality patient care and move our profession forward.
